Hello! I’m Dr. Md Abdur Rahman.

 

Associate Professor in the Department of Cyber Security and Forensic Computing at the College of Computer and Cyber Sciences, University of Prince Muqrin, Madinah, KSA. I have received the BEST Researcher Award for the past three consecutive years and obtained more than 15 million USD in research grants from funding bodies in the USA, UK, and KSA. I am among the top 2% of scientists in the world. My research interests include Blockchain/Off-chain solutions, Self-Explainable and Trustworthy AI for Cyber Security Applications, Security at Cloud, Fog, and Edge, Adversarial Attacks, and Defense Mechanisms of AI applications serving Critical National Infrastructure, IoT and 6G Security, Secure Smart City Services, and OT Systems Security.

1. I have delivered the first AI-powered smart building management system to a commercial Building in the male campus at Madinah Al Munawwarah.

2. I have delivered the first AI-powered smart mosque management system to a newly built mosque in Madinah Al Munawwarah.

3. I have delivered and deployed the AI-powered automated back-office management system to the Consulate Generate of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at Jeddah.

– Winner of the KAUST grand challenge 1M SAR “Ideas and Solutions for Hajj and Umrah 2020” in the category of Crowd Management.
